Overview

Built for the reality of crew life, not the routine.

Air Canada's crew app helps 15,000+ pilots and flight attendants manage their lives around flying; from schedules and flight time credits to the operational details of every duty day.

I owned end-to-end design for the app from the ground up, working across two product pods serving both the In-Flight Services and Flight Operations crew. Partway through the project, I took on a concurrent Product Owner role alongside my design work, owning the product backlog, writing stories, navigating regulatory compliance, and driving roadmap prioritization.

What started as a mandate to replace a legacy crew tool became something more: a product shaped by the operational moments that crew navigate every day.

The full case study includes detailed research findings, design evolution, and outcomes.
